Product review is one of the best ways to make money online through affiliate marketing. Many products owners are looking for bloggers to review products on their cart. This will help them to sell more while the reviewer gets a commission on every sales.

There is money in product review blog since it involve buying and selling. people making at least N30,000 and above every month by reviewing products from Konga and Jumia online store. This is just one source of online income. It really make sense if you add it up with other affiliate earnings, Google AdSense, and direct product sales.

A typical example of a product review blog is shopdirect.ng. You can visit it and have a look at how it works. It really pays.

Product review sites make money from affiliate commission, paid reviews and advertising. The amount of money you can make from your product review blog depends on your ability to develop it to a money making stage.

What you need to start a review blog

There are few thing you will need to start a review blog that matters. here are the list below.

1. Computer (laptop) and internet service

2. Good web hosting: because you are expecting a huge traffic, I recommend that you buy a good web hosting from the USA. I recommend iPage, Godaddy Bluehost, Siteground,  or Dreamhost. Most of them will give you free domain name during signup.

3. Gossip blog theme: For you to start a gossip blog that matters, I will advise you use a premium theme made for review blogs. Few of them are reHub, CrazyBlog,  or Hits. All of these themes are ready-made responsive affiliate themes. No coding knowledge needed to setup your gossip blog.

Once you have this, follow the process on how to setup your blog.
Products you can review to make good money

There are many products you can review to make serious money. For me, I go for costly products (from N50,000 and above). With this, I am really sure of my N1500 from 3% commission rate per sale from Konga or Jumia.

Some product categories per as high as 9-12%. A typical example are high end fashion products such as suits, wedding gowns etc. These types of cloths may cost up to N50,000 for one. With this you will smile home with N4,500 per sale. With this kind of commission, I only need to make at least 3 sales to meet Konga monthly payment threshold.

There are lots of free stuff for bloggers to review. These could be;

    Electronics
    Computers /Laptops / Accessories
    Fashion
    Home appliances
    Kitchen wares
    generators and Solar Inverters

In fact, anything you can find on Konga, Jumia, ebay, Clickbank, Commission Junction or Amazon stores can be reviewed. Apart from Konga or Jumia, you can check out other affiliate marketing programs in Nigeria.
How to get companies to send you products to review

Do you know that big brands are looking for bloggers to review products that they own? Yes, I mean it. You can develop and grow your blog to the extent that big companies like Coca cola, banks will tell you to review their brand on your blog. This is when you will make big money in one review contract.

If you have grown your blog to this level, what you need to do is to offer advertising space for sale on your blog.

3. Use PLR eBooks: These are eBooks that you can buy from somewhere and resell to others without being penalized. PLR means Private Label Right. This right give allows you to edit and sell the eBook as if you are the one who wrote it.

For me, I use blogging to sell my products.
Simple create a blog for your product. It’s quite simple to get it done.

Just signup with a good hosting company like Siteground or Dreamhost. Both of them will give you a free domain name along with your new hosting account. I like them because their servers are both located in developed countries like the US. So, they will not have issues with power failure and your site will never surfer any downtime.
If you need a .ng domain extension, you can get it from Whogohost. You can then host the domain in the US using the web hosting companies recommended above.
After buying web hosting, go ahead and install WordPress on your server. Make sure you use a theme that have a landing page. With your landing page, you will then host your ready-made marketing messages.
There are so many free WordPress themes out there. But if your budget can support it, you can get a very nice marketing theme from Themeforest. That will be nice!

With these, you are one step closer to success!
Tips for Success!
One thing that you must do if you want to sell your products faster is to build an audience of potential buyers. You can do this by writing helpful articles about the topics.
You can also support your effort with a very good email list. Use Mailerlite email software to create your email list. The first 1000 subscribers are free and it’s the cheapest I’ve seen online.
With this list, you will notify your subscribers  if you have a new product or new article on your blog. I think I ma exposing most of my secretes to you so that you can learn. Try these tips and you will be happy for yourself.
